About the Strategy
In 2023, the Foundation conducted a strategic review, resulting in a five-year strategy to guide staff, trustees, partners, and stakeholders. This strategy includes five interconnected objectives: four focus on the Foundation’s pillars of Civil Society, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, and Knowledge Production & Influence, while the fifth aims to enhance internal governance and operations.
Grounded in the values of commitment, partnership, excellence, transparency, and innovation, the Foundation aims to remain a leading supporter of the Levant, promoting civil society through principles of social justice, peace, and good governance. By maintaining an inclusive, partnership-driven approach, the Foundation aspires to model civil society leadership over the next five years.
Recognizing the numerous challenges in the Levant, the Foundation is committed to collaborating with regional stakeholders to address complex issues. The interconnected nature of Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine means crises in one country often impact the others, necessitating extensive and targeted support for civil society enhancement.
