Foundation’s New Five Year Strategy Launched (2018 – 2022)

Over the last nine months, the Foundation’s consultants have talked to Foundation Trustees, staff, and to many of our past partners, alumni and other stakeholders to evaluate the work the Foundation did between 2006 and 2017. This information was used to develop a new strategy that we hope will contribute to support our partners and our target countries as effectively as possible over the next five years. The new strategy, which we have now started implementing, can be downloaded below (and will be available in Arabic in two weeks).

During 2018 we will be reviewing our internal procedures to ensure they fully support the new strategy. As a result, during 2018 we will invite only some past partners and some recent applicants to apply for this year’s grants as a pilot year. From January 2019 we will open applications up to all potential partners that fit our remit. Our website will be updated in the next month to reflect the newstrategy, so please use the strategy document as a guideline or call your contact at the Foundation with any questions.

We are very grateful to everyone that has given us their time and views to help us develop a strategy we hope will help support you in the important work you do. We look forward to working with our partners and alumni to continue to create positive change for the benefit of young people and civil society from Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and the UK.
